Looking for a steppingstone to reach your educational goals? MCC provides numerous transfer options through the Michigan Transfer Agreement with more than 100 articulation agreements with four-year universities, which provide seamless transfer of accrued credits.

Established in 1965, Montcalm Community College is focused on making college education accessible and affordable. We offer in-person learning along with online, hybrid and live online courses. With an average class size of 15 students, you’ll get personalized instruction in a variety of subject areas from faculty members who are among the best in their fields.

MCC specializes in many unique degree programs, including:

Criminal Justice: This associate of applied science degree program prepares graduates for careers in the criminal justice field. It is designed to provide an understanding of criminal justice, while allowing students to obtain special work-related skills necessary for work in a variety of criminal justice positions with police, courts and corrections.

Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC): This program provides the background, skills, knowledge, understanding and techniques needed for students to work as HVAC technicians. Students gain knowledge of various environmental conditions and how they impact human comfort level.

Industrial Automation Maintenance: This program is for students interested in robotics and their use in industrial settings. Students will learn concepts of electricity, programmable logic controllers, motors, hydraulics, robotics and the integration of robotic systems.

Technical Design in Manufacturing: This program is designed to prepare students for employment or advancement in the fields of industrial design, fabrication, and manufacturing with an emphasis on emerging technologies and strategies. Students will be well equipped to compete in today’s job market, as the program combines traditional fabrication tools with new design and fabrication processes.

Welding: Graduates of this program develop the knowledge, understanding and techniques needed to produce quality weldments. Students gain knowledge of various materials and an understanding of the effects that heat and stress have on welded materials.
