St. Paul, MN – The USA Clay Target League is excited to launch the USA Clay Target Marketplace, a special online portal for clay target athletes, teams, and their families to find great deals from brands that support the USA Clay Target League and the youth clay target shooting movement.

“Between student athletes, their coaches, and their families, there are over 100,000 people involved or closely watching the League’s programs, and that number grows by tens of thousands each year.” said John Nelson, President of the USA Clay Target League. “The Marketplace is an opportunity to businesses to support the next generation of shooting sports enthusiasts, along with the coaches and parents that support them with their time, talent, and dedication.”

The USA Clay Target League is the nation’s largest youth clay target shooting sport organization, and offers Trap, Skeet, Sporting Clays, and 5-Stand leagues to secondary and postsecondary schools across the country. The League is the only 100% school-approved clay target shooting sport program in America, and had over 30,000 students on over 1,200 school-approved teams nationwide in 2019.

“The USA Clay Target Marketplace is a chance for the industry to support and educate an under-served market. Clay target athletes spend more money and contribute more dollars to conservation than typical participants in other outdoor activities.” John Hubener, USA Clay Target League Sales and Fundraising Manager, said. “Parents and coaches want to know what equipment and supplies they need to support their athletes, and then they want to know where to get them. That’s why the Marketplace exists.”

Currently featuring special offers from Do-All Outdoors, Sportsman’s Guide, Federal Ammunition, SKB Firearms, and more, the USA Clay Target Marketplace has offers and opportunities for everyone.  Teams and coaches can find fundraising programs or special deals on team gear. Parents and athletes can take advantage of special apparel deals, or discounts on gun cleaning equipment. High school seniors can even find information about recruitment opportunities from schools like Alexandria Technical and Community College, or even the US Army!

The League’s co-ed and adaptive nature are key attractions to schools nationwide. The League is fully Title IX compliant with both male and female athletes competing on the same team. Additionally, it’s an ‘adaptive’ sport, which allows students with physical disabilities to take part. The League is also the safest sport in high school and college, with not one reported injury since the inception of the League in 2001. Each athlete must complete firearm safety certification before participation.

The USA Clay Target League is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is the independent provider of clay target shooting sports for secondary and postsecondary schools. The League’s priorities are safety, fun, and marksmanship – in that order.
